We are so grateful for all those who give so generously to support our church community, especially through these difficult and distant months. There is now a whole page on our website which will tell us how we can give financially, including a new ‘donate’ button to give via credit card, find out more here: https://www.stjamesdundas.ca/giving
A QUICK ROOF UPDATE
Some of you may be aware that in recent weeks we have experienced further problems with our church roof. As well as a number of leaks which we were planning to address, it became clear that the vents in the roof had been damaged and squirrels were moving into our building. As part of the work to remedy both problems the vents are being replaced with metal in place of plastic and pest control have been installing exit-only barriers. More work is due in the coming weeks.
Our fundraising team are using this time to prepare for future events. We are in need of baskets that can be used for displays /gifts etc. Please leave any you are able to donate at the parking lot door to the church.
WINTER COAT THANKS
A huge thank you to everyone who donated winter coats and boots to our appeal over the last 4 months. Hundreds of coats (at least 400!) were distributed through Saint Matthew’s House and Wesley Urban Ministries. Thanks especially to Betty Eagan and Anne Washington for organizing this appeal.

PRAYER OF THE WEEK
We beseech thee, Master, to be our helper and protector. Save the afflicted among us; have mercy on the lowly; raise up the fallen; appear to the needy; heal the ungodly; restore the wanderers of thy people; feed the hungry; ransom our prisoners; raise up the sick; comfort the faint-hearted.
(Clement of Rome, 1st Century)
