PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION

For your viewing pleasure in February, St James will host Bob Morrow’s photo exhibit: ‘REFECTIONS’. Please see the attached poster for all the details! This art exhibit is not to be missed. Proceeds from art sales will help support St. James Outreach projects.

BODY AND SOUL – Next Tuesday, January 17, 2023. 10.30 a.m. Parlour.

Hope you can join us! All are welcome!

Voracious, loquacious … never lewd … but shrewd … raconteur and photographer, Canon Robert Morrow will bring to Body and Soul two presentations (for the price of one). The first is a short introduction to Humpback Whales. The second is a more in-depth look at “Disappearing”. This is NOT a presentation about your clergy or wardens, but a frank and sometimes funny look at those things that are disappearing in our lives faster than we might realize.

Adopt a Family a Record Success!!! Thank you to all who made this year’s Adopt a Family project so successful this year! We adopted 20 children from 8 families and not a single request went unfulfilled!!! From knitters to bag sewers and those who donated material and money, to shoppers, sorters, and those who fed us made it all happen. The bags just bulged after being packed and double checked by the sorters with all the gifts and the many fabulous stocking stuffers! Even adults were looked after and treated with these! Thanks to those with muscle who got it all down to the depot. Always such a magical way to spend the holidays helping to make sure others have a Merry Christmas as well. The committee thanks you from the bottom of our hearts! Carleon H., Jackie D., Marline S., and Angela R.
