Tickets are $10 and you can book a ticket online via our website and pay online via e-transfer or credit card or by cheque payable to St James Church. Please note on your cheque or online payment that it is for the poetry reading. Ticket holders will receive a ZOOM link the week before the event.
NEEDED—— COOKS AND BAKERS It is hoped that we will be able to have another online auction at the beginning of the summer, depending on the rules in place from the diocese. As with the Christmas auction, we will have another food sale, possibly the Friday of the same weekend. We are, once again, looking for volunteers who would be willing to bake squares, breads, biscuits, make soups and main dishes such as cabbage rolls which were very popular and have already been requested to be on the list. Any further suggestions would be welcome too. This is an advanced notice in order that we can be ready to go ahead without any pressure. I would appreciate being notified of people’s intentions, so please phone or email me. The other suggestion has been to have a food basket in the online auction, so if any of you have homemade jams, relish, etc that they would be willing to donate, please let me know. Thank you for your help,
Jill.
You can contact Jill through the office 905-627-1424 or stjamesdundas@outlook.com

PRAYER OF THE WEEK
Eternal God,
in the cross of Jesus
we see the cost of our sin
and the depth of your love:
in humble hope and fear
may we place at his feet
all that we have and all that we are,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
