UPDATE: RETURNING TO IN-PERSON WORSHIP

A few updates as we prepare to resume ‘in-person’ worship.

  • On Saturday past, the province changed the limits of private in-person gathering in response to increased Covid infections. This does not affect religious services at this time. However, it does effect the size permitted for funerals. It does remind us all to be careful and cautious in our day to day practices and as a community as we return to our building.

  • On Friday we received the letter from the Diocese approving our reopening plan after its review. That there were no corrections made is a testimony to how thoroughly our reopening team have worked and thought out the plan and we are deeply grateful to them for weeks of hard work.

  • Our first in-person services are on Sunday October 4th at 9.30am and on Wednesday 7th October at 11am. These services are identical. Those wishing to attend on Sunday will need to reserve a seat online (or call the parish office) by Thursday 12noon. Those wishing to attend on the Wednesday will need to reserve a seat online (or call the parish office) by Tuesday at 12noon.

  • A reminder that the church building remains closed except by appointment during the rest of the week.

  • Over the last two Sundays we have held training and orientation sessions for our new teams of greeters who will help us come together safely to worship for our Sunday. Thank you to all those who have taken on this new role.

MASKS! MASKS! MASKS!

Masks, masks, masks! We have sold over $1000 in masks but we have only just begun!

We have children’s masks, small, medium and large ninja style and pleated masks!

We have special masks more comfortable for those with hearing aids and masks made for those with latex allergies. There are thanksgiving masks, Halloween masks and Christmas masks.

Some for everyone on your shopping list- a great thank you gift, thinking about you gift or Christmas gifts.

We have them in colours to match your wardrobe.

If people in the church each sell a few we will make our target of $10,000...

Custom orders welcome.

We need cotton fabric, elastic, thread, and people to sell masks.
