Les Reid Watercolours

Les Reid was born in Hamilton in the 1920s and after serving in the Navy as a gunnery officer during the Second World War, he attended Queen's University, Kingston. Les retired as Head of History, teaching at Westdale and Barton Secondary Schools. He was a long-time member of Saint Stephen-on-the-Mount Anglican Church and his widow, Margaret, has donated some of his paintings to Saint James Anglican Church for fundraising.

Painting was a hobby, giving Les a great deal of pleasure and satisfaction.
